Volk Lazuli is 100% penciled!

Volk Lazuli is the story of a half orc sorcerer who was robbed on a job, and on a journey to get her things back.  But it's also about her relationship with her human brother and trying to be a better person.

The first 8 pages of the story will be sold as a tease at MoCCA which is rapidly approaching April 5-6th.

I just finished penciling today, am about to start inking, and I am psyched :) Completed version of Volk coming ASAP.

Some Volk Lazuli pencils

First three pages penciled of Volk Lazuli, as of now the scripts at 16 pages, and about 9 of them are in various stages of being penciled.  This is the first story I've written since 2011, and it took a lot of banging my head against the wall to get this much out, but it's a lot of fun so far.
I'll try to post updates on it as I go!

The comic will hopefully be gracing my half of the table at MoCCA in early April!

Running Sketches

If you look up "parkour tag" in youtube, you get some great reference material for a chase scene.

Post Expo Season

Expo season has come and gone!

MICE was amazing! Great expo, people, former teachers, sales, attendance, B movies watched in the crowded hotel room.  I got to meet some Jesus Loves Lesbians, Too fans!! All A+ times.  And hanging out with my crew is always tops.

Locust Moon in Phili, not so great, but at least I hung out with Nick and we got ice cream, so that helped.  Plus the amazing Andrea Tsurumi took this great pic of me with my wares.  (Thanks Andrea!)

Next stop on the expo train is MoCCA in April! (Hopefully I'll have a camera by then.)

Now back to making art!!
